Lily turned 8 months old this week. She is at the amazing stage where she can kind of communicate with us. She can really express delight and discomfort. And she is just so much easier to read. She has started hugging and kissing us (mostly her Daddy)which just makes my heart melt every time she does it. Even though she has had some fevers and stuffy noses lately I am totally enjoying my life as a parent. I wouldn't trade it for the world!
Lily did so much today! She figured out how to stand supported by a chair (she was very impressed by herself). And she learned how to drink through a straw.
It's official! Lily is a total water baby. We knew she liked the water but now we know she really LOVES it! The other night James and Lily were in the bath together and we started pouring water all over her. Lily couldn't have cared less. I thought babies hated it when they got water in their eyes! Not Lily! She just smiled and wanted more. It's so nice at the end of the day to unwind with a nice bath and a clean baby. 
Well, I am finally giving into the whole "BLOG" thing. I am a terrible writer, terrible speller but I do have a lot to say. Also, I take a ton of pictures. I figure by having a blog I can share my pictures without having to fill all of your email boxes. When you see a picture that you would like a copy of let me know and I would be happy to email it to you.
